Headlining Big Steam Music Festival is Grammy Winner Mr. Sipp – Mississippi Blues Child.

The third annual Big Steam Music Festival is set for September 27 and 28, 2024 at Hill Wheatley Plaza in the beautiful downtown Hot Springs National Park. This year’s festival promises an unforgettable weekend of live music, featuring a spectacular lineup of Grammy-winning and nominated artists and a variety of local and regional talent.

Mississippi comes to Hot Springs on Friday night when the festival kicks off with a special evening dedicated to the soulful sounds of Mississippi Blues. Headlining the night is Grammy Winner Mr. Sipp – Mississippi Blues Child, whose dynamic performances and exceptional guitar skills have captivated audiences worldwide.

Also performing on Friday are Super Chikan, known for his unique blend of blues and funk, Duwayne Burnside, a talented guitarist carrying on the legacy of his father R.L. Burnside, and the soulful singer LALA Craig.

The excitement continues on Saturday with an eclectic array of performances that will keep the energy high all day. Grammy Nominated Victor Wainwright & the Train will headline the evening, bringing their high-octane boogie-woogie piano and soulful blues to the stage.

Joining them are Selwyn Birchwood and Gracie Curran & the High Falutin Band.

The lineup also features the John Calvin Brewer Band, Tina Cossey Band, BSMF Band, and Buddy Shute & Mark McGhee, offering a rich variety of musical styles and local talent.

In addition to the stellar lineup of musicians, the festival will feature local food trucks. Attendees are encouraged to explore the charming downtown area, savor local cuisine, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
