Creek Hopping Hot Springs – 3 Part Series

Did you know that fish, amphibians, and reptiles tell us a lot about how healthy our water is? Some species are even considered Biological Indicators of healthy waterways.

This FREE 3-part series will be held on the last Saturday of each month, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, at the Train Trestle along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail. Save the dates to join the fun – May 31, June 28, and July 26.

Come dip a net with Trails Coordinator, Hannah Rice, to find out what critters live in the creek. Parking is accessible at the corner of Shady Grove Road and Scott Street or in the Rotary Centennial Trailhead parking lot. Nets are provided at the event. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes that can get wet!

This series is hosted by the Hot Springs Parks & Trails and Stormwater Departments, Garland County Conservation District, and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. For more information about Hot Springs Parks & Trails events, visit Facebook: Hot Springs Parks Trails
