Garrison Featured in 2nd Annual Gel Printers Summit

Local artist, Diana Garrison will teach Gelli-style Chine Collé, a unique method of gel printing.

Are you a fan of gel printing? Have you heard of it? Gel printing is an approachable printmaking method that uses a reusable gelatin-like plate and acrylic paint. Easy to learn and highly addictive, this creative process opens doors to unique artistic expression.

This year’s Second Annual Gel Printers Summit will be held online from October 7-20, hosted by Drew Steinbrecher and sponsored in part by GelliArts. Among the 14 international instructors, Hot Springs artist Diana Garrison, owner of Crooked Little Studio, will share her expertise.

Representing artists from the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, the Summit will feature one pre-recorded lesson released daily.

Garrison’s lesson, Gelli-style Chine Collé, will showcase her method of incorporating collage between printed layers, offering a unique twist to the art form.
