Hot Springs Artist in Residence to Have Art Pop-Up Show for 35th Anniversary of Art Walk

Shop the Pop-Up art show by Gilbert, Arkansas, artist Jamie Craddock Johnson.

Jamie Craddock Johnson is bringing unique history-focused art to Hot Springs Gallery Walk. Johnson, of Gilbert, Arkansas, was chosen earlier this year as the 2024 Artist in Residence for Hot Springs National Park. Johnson has visited Hot Springs many times and is fascinated with its stories of the past and its amazing history.

Johnson is primarily a watercolor artist and chooses to paint on unique vintage surfaces like dictionary pages, maps, brochures, sheet music, and more. So, her style of art is perfect for historic Hot Springs. Johnson has created a series of new art just for Hot Springs.

Johnson will have a pop-up art show to help celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Gallery Walk and will be set up at 620 Central. The pop-up market will be open Friday, August 2 – Sunday, August 4. Come by and say hello and experience her unique art.

Johnson has been a professional artist for over 15 years and owns Buffalo River Art Gallery in Gilbert, Arkansas, on the historic Buffalo National River. To view her work, visit FB: ArtByJamieJ
