Jackson House Launches Innovative Fundraiser

If rappelling off a building is on your bucket list, you can help raise funds for Jackson House while checking it off your list.

Fundraising can sometimes be a tall task, but on September 23 and 24, Jackson House is taking fundraising to new heights with “Over the Edge” an innovative rappelling event in downtown Hot Springs. The event will see 92 thrill-seeking participants rappel 4 stories. Each participant must raise a minimum of $1,000 in 100% tax-deductible donations for Jackson House.

“We are so excited to launch the first annual ‘Over The Edge for Jackson House’,” stated Janie Smith, Executive Director of JH. “We hope this becomes an annual fun time in our gorgeous downtown benefitting those we serve with our interfaith community crisis center,” Smith continued.

Register today at FundRazR/jacksonhouseovertheedge or www.jacksonhouse.org.

There will also be a “Fun/Kid Zone” in the Bridge Street District with vendor booths, food trucks, and activities for the kids, and a large screen will showcase the rope launches.

The event is open to all ages. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, and all participants must be within the 100 to 300-pound required weight range.
