National Park Medical Center’s Golf Tournament

Christmas Golf Tournament Benefits Garland County At Risk Children

National Park Medical Center will present the 35th Annual Christmas Scramble Golf Tournament, benefitting the Kamo’s Kids Foundation, on Friday, December 7, at Hot Springs Country Club. Registration, sponsored by Arvest will begin at 8:30 am, and the shot gun start will be at 10:30 am.

The tournament will include a player gift sponsored by Citizens Bank, Breakfast sponsored by Ouachita Regional Anesthesia, Warming Tent sponsored by Diamond Bank, a silent auction, on-course lunch sponsored by Connex Rehab, great door prizes, beverages by Arkansas Beverage Sales, and prizes by All American Classics for the first, second and third place teams in both flights. The tournament will also include several contests; Longest Drive by HealthStar Physicians; and Hit the Green and Closest to the Hole by Razorback Camper Sales.

The Kamo’s Kids Foundation was established as a non-profit in February 2009 in loving memory of Kameron “Kamo” Hale (January 18, 1995-January 23, 2009). The Foundation is guided by the three main principles that represented Kamo’s outlook on life: “Kourage” to do what is right, “Kommitment” to excellence and “Kompassion” for others.

The Foundation actively works with area organizations, school officials, the juvenile court system and individuals to help under-served children. 100% of donations provided to Kamo’s Kids are directed towards this mission, as it is supported through the collaborative efforts of volunteer directors. The Foundation does not allocate funds for administrative purposes, ensuring that every cent received is placed to work helping children in need.

In addition to serving day to day special needs for underserved children in all of the Garland County school districts, the Foundation also provides college scholarships, underwrites the annual Fields of Faith ministry project and works with the Garland County Juvenile Court System to provide incentives for kids to complete the program.

Additional sponsors who help make this tournament possible and profitable for the foundation include: Bank of the Ozarks, Bruce Gaston, DDS, Gigerich Electrical Inc, First Security Bank, Posey Printing, Hot Springs Radiology, AWI Supply, Survival Flight, Hot Springs Title Company, Drs. Greg Ramer & Neill Clem, Bank OZK, Down Home Meats, Relyance Bank, Aspire Wealth Builders, Royal Windows and Seiz Signs.

Cost for the tournament is $125 per player or $500 per team of four. To register for the tournament, call Heather Buckley at 620-2705 or email heather.buckley@npmchs.com.
