Indulgences – Emergent Arts 5th Anniversary Celebration

The hottest ticket in town right now is an invitation to “Indulgences,” the 5th Anniversary Celebration of Emergent Arts that will take place Saturday, September 29th, 6:00 – 10:00pm. This celebration is being hosted by Dorothy Morris and Davis and Suellen Tillman, which will make it the first-best-ever-event for the upcoming 2018 Holiday Season. Ms. Morris and the Tillman’s are known for having the most creative parties in Hot Springs. Tickets will go fast so order yours now.

For five years Emergent Arts has been led by executive director, Erin Holliday, who injected this 501(c) 3 non-profit arts organization with her creative energy, dedication and passion for the arts in Hot Springs.

The mission of Emergent Arts is to “foster creativity among emerging artists of all ages and abilities in Garland County and surrounding communities,” a mission which has opened doors for many artists of all ages and caliber.

“We believe that every person is capable of having a creative experience, as a viewer, a participant, a creator, or a supporter,” declared Holliday. Emergentarts.org website tells their story.

Emergent Arts has made its home in the Dryden Pottery Complex, at 341-A Whittington Avenue, after completing major renovations to the existing building. Dryden Pottery has been creating art in this location since 1956, spanning three generations, and they welcomed Emergent as their neighbors.

In addition to an exciting evening of entertainment, your “Indulgences” ticket includes a one-year membership to Emergent Arts, which gives members advance notice of all the events and shows.

“Indulgences” Celebration takes place upstairs in the Tillman’s magnificently adorned apartment overlooking Historic Downtown Hot Springs. Specialty cocktails sponsored by Deep Eddy Vodka, live entertainment on both floors of Tillman’s, vocals by Sylvia Stems, performance by Ruby Lead, and an original artwork sale will all be part of the evening’s fun.

Scot Key is the event planner for this wonderful celebration. Key moved back to Arkansas in 2017 and made Hot Springs home after living for years in Philadelphia and the North East. He spent his career working as Visual Director for a major high end retailer, after which he started his own business doing special events, private parties and charity galas.

“’Indulgences’ will inspire you to go ahead and reserve the date for the 6th Anniversary in 2019,” said Key.

Tickets are $75. For reservations or to purchase tickets contact Suzy Saettele at 501-282-5699 or email info@emergentarts.org. Please RSVP by September 22. Those who are unable to attend the event, but would like to add their support to Emergent Arts, can make a tax-deductible donation via PayPal, or by emailing Accounts@EmergentArts.org.
