Village Strings to Play at McAuley Center

The very talented Village Strings will perform for a fundraiser for Meals on Wheels at McAuley Center, in Hot Springs Village.

On Wednesday, August 15, the Village Strings will join the folks at McAuley Center, 5010 Hwy 7 North, Hot
Springs Village, in a fund-raiser for Meals on Wheels. The music begins at 11:30 am and will include selections
from favorite Broadway shows, classical pieces and Beatles hits.

Funded by the Older Americans Act, Meals on Wheels provides 400 meals each day to area residents. Donations to
the program are crucial. More than 50 volunteers from Hot Springs Village and Older Worker Programs serve the
Village and the city of Hot Springs. For more information, or to volunteer contact McAuley Center at 501-984-5594.
The Village Strings, an all-volunteer string orchestra, has been entertaining audiences in Hot Springs Village and
adjoining communities since 1990. Their extensive repertoire includes classical, pop and rock selections. For
information visit Facebook: Hot Springs Village Strings or call 501-922-9245.

Don’t miss this opportunity to support a much-needed organization and to enjoy lunch while listening to your
