Mid-America Science Museum is now home to more than 20 dinosaurs in its latest permanent exhibit, the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek. Dinosaur enthusiasts are invited to Meet & Greet the giant critters opening day, Saturday, May 26th.

All of the dinosaurs are now placed on the grounds surrounding Mid-America Science Museum (MASM) in preparation for the opening of the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek. With a total now of more than twenty dinosaurs, the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek will be ready for its official opening on Memorial Day weekend.
Museum members are invited to Dinos and Donuts beginning at 9 am Saturday, May 26th for free donuts and coffee courtesy of Dunkin Donuts. Members will have an hour to experience the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek before the museum officially opens its doors at 10 am to the general public.

“We have been extremely lucky to work with local professionals like Hot Springs Stonework, Zimmer Electric, Stevens Electronics, Fast Signs and others in order to get the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek prepared and we’re looking forward to having everything perfect for Memorial Day Weekend,” said Niles Ellis, Director of Exhibits and Design at MASM.

Currently the museum exhibits department is installing lighting, cameras, sound effects, and additional landscaping in the month leading up to the opening of the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek. The museum will be open 7 days a week offering opportunities for guests and visitors to Hot Springs time to see the new permanent exhibit beginning on Memorial Day Monday, May 28th and will be open from 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday, and Sundays from 1 pm to 6 pm through Labor Day.
